Many researchers ask, Can Electric Kettle Be Used for Boiling Milk?
This is a very common question that I usually get from electric kettle users. And they also tell me if an electric kettle can be used to boil water, then why is it not also possible for boiling milk?
Well, sounds like a logical question, isn’t it? It does not wait to say that using an electric kettle makes our life more convenient than ever before. It serves us warm water instantly and we can be filtering the temperature range upon our interests.
But if you want to boil milk in an electric kettle, you should worry at least about your messy kitchen. Doing so, milk will leave a worse mess inside of the kettle; consequently, your machine could be damaged.
You cannot prepare your favorite coffee or tea easily, but it is possible to get warm water for preparing soups, boiling eggs, and so on. We find electric water kettle convenient for us because it saves our valuable time and sometimes we think whether this machine can be used to boil milk or not.
Therefore, my answer to this question is “no” and you should not try to do this. However, we will let you know how your electric kettle is damaged if you start boiling milk using this machine.
Moreover, what could be the potential dangers and if you still want to boil milk then how can you save your electric kettle from being damaged?
A brief explanation: How does an electric kettle work?
If you are wondering whether an electric kettle can be used to boil milk or not, it means you do not know how an electric kettle works. Therefore, I will briefly explain how this electric kettle small kitchen appliance works.
An electric kettle consists of a heating element that looks like a coil of metal. It can be seen at the bottom of the kettle in most brands. The metal coil is hidden under a plate.
When you plug in an electric kettle, electrical energy will flow through the metal coil that produces hits to boil inside the liquid of the kettle. The metal coil can draw a huge amount of electricity so you can boil water within 2-3 minutes.
Instant electric kettles on Amazon are also available to boil water for less than 1 minute. Water boils, when this appliance produces steam. The thermostat controls the temperature of the heating element that triggers the auto-shutdown of the current.
Many electric kettles are designed with advanced thermostat functions that heat water within a precise temperature as well as hold it there for some time. If you are curious to know more about how the electric kettle works, read my previous blog on it.
Are electric kettles designed to boil milk?
The straight answer to this question is no. Electric kettles are not suitable for boiling milk because these devices are not designed for it.
Electric kettles are used for heating water. These are the potential reasons why we should not use our electric kettles for boiling milk.
Electric kettle won’t shut down while burning the milk:
This is one of the most important points for this topic so I would like to keep it in the first position. The electric kettle device is designed with an auto shutting down option when the steam reaches its expected level of temperature of the kettle.
But due to the layer of protein and fat from milk, the steam cannot come out properly as it should. For this reason, electric kettles do not go for the auto shut down function as it can do while boiling water.
Consequently, it keeps continuing to boil the milk until the liquid is entirely evaporated as well as the fat and protein burnt inside.
Milk can be spilled over instead of evaporating:
Water and milk both have different properties, which means milk does not evaporate when boiled as water does. Milk can be spilled over instead of evaporating. Milk is a mixture of protein, water, and fats and the protein and fats have separate water.
So, when milk heated the forming layer of protein and fats above the liquid prevented being evaporated.
Therefore, milk boils over, and the flow of liquid cases short circuits can happen in the electric base of the kettle. As a consequence, your electric kettle can be damaged.
Milk may leave residues behind:
As we told you before, milk contains protein and fat so these ingredients would be stuck inside of the kettle when heated. If your kettle is not designed well to scrub every surface easily, then these sticky traces would be tough to remove properly.
Because it will stick inside part of the carnies and nook of your electric kettle that could be harmful to the functionality of it ultimately. The milk deposits on heat sensors can inhibit their functioning.
A malodor smell:
Milk not only leaves layers as traces behind making that difficult to clean up, but the burnt milk also leaves a malodor smell.
You can compromise it with burnt cheese in your electric kettle that ruins the flavor and taste of other drinks.
Normally, an electric kettle is not suitable to boil milk due to the several reasons discussed above. However, still there are many kettles that you can use to warm milk along with water.
Boil milk in the kettle:
If you still want to boil milk using an electric kettle, then there are few ways of doing that. First, do not put the lid on. Because the lid must create pressure and we know that milk expands that may boil over.
You can shut down the kettle before milk expands, preventing a great mess without using a lid. Another method is indirect heat. Put small water in the kettle and take milk in a glass that is made from steel.
After that, place it inside of the kettle with water. When you plugin, water will start boiling and the water will warm the milk without leaving any kind of residues behind or without being milk burnt.
Above all, we do not recommend boiling milk using an electric kettle machine unless you have a kettle that is designed for milk boiling.
Final Recommendation:
Milk does not evaporate like water; this means milk may boil over causing a short circuit of the electricity base of the kettle. The milk protein and fat stick to the inside wall and base of the kettle that may burn them.
So, do not try to use every kettle for boiling milk. Hope there is no confusion about the question, Can Electric Kettle Be Used for Boiling Milk? If you have any questions on your mind regarding this topic, write to us in the comments section below. Stay tuned for the next updates.

Many web researchers ask online, Can Blended be used as Food Processor?
Many cooks at the beginner level usually make the mistake of thinking that there is no difference between food processors and blenders. These couple of things look similar even have similarities in functions.
However, if you are wondering what can blend be used as a food processor, then let me tell you there are many distinctions between them.
In this article, I will explain to you the difference between both of these devices so you can decide for yourself what you should do in this regard.
Food Processor:
It does not wait to say the food processors are best for savory cooks. These can be versatile actually with different kinds of attachments. For example, chopping, baking, pureeing, slicing, grating, and so on can be used as attachments.
A food processor comes with the attachments of baking jobs such as; whipping and kneading. However, these machines are not able to do a great job like stand mixers. Food processors for 1-2 people require 2 to 20 cup choppers that could be worked in a restaurant kitchen.
The ranger of price can differ from $40 to $700 even with the expensive range including attachments. For example, citrus presses, grinding mills, blender jugs even different sizes of bowls. This makes the food processor machine more versatile in work but it does not mean that you can have more stuff to clean it.
Also, you cannot get more storage space to take up. If you cook big batches on a regular basis then a food processor device can help you by saving you valuable time during preparation.
Nevertheless, if you look for a home appliance to make a quick dip or chop an onion then you can consider having a mini chopper.
Blender Machine:
The main purpose is to use a blender machine to blend liquids. When you start to blend any food ingredients to make it liquid. Moreover, it also creates a vortex and pulls ingredients towards the center that causes you to blend.
A full-sized blender machine is between 8 to 22 inches in height. As for the weight, it can be 4 to 19 pounds. A blender would be the best appliance for you if you want to make smoothies and soups.
Blenders excel at blitzing food ingredients into smoothie’s mixture. Most of the blenders can make dips as well as crush ice. You won’t usually get the slicing option, chop and grate food elements as you want to do with a food processor machine.
However, there are many blender machines designed with additional attachments for grinding nuts and coffee. There are a couple of standing blenders jug blenders that can make large batches.
Mini blenders and one go function can make 1-2 portions at the same time. You can see that the blending cup can be turned into a travel mug. The price of these blenders can be $20 for a minimum and $500 for a maximum analyzing the present market.
You can also consider the stick type or hand type blender machines which are good for quick jobs. These types of blenders are excellent for blending soups and smoothies as a making dip.
However, quick jobs might be tiring when it is held for a long period. The designs of these blenders are compact in look but smaller in size. I tell you again the range of prices can be different depending on whisking attachments and food abilities as well.
Can blended be used as a food processor?
Using a food processor, you can blend soups in small batches. Just be aware of hot liquids. But the final product as well its look won’t be smooth as it would be in a blender. Cruising ice could be accomplished with either tool but the blender must be high in quality so you can get a better result.
How can you use a blender instead of a food processor?
There are many of my readers who ask me this question. The answer is it pends. Also, you can find out a workaround for some dishes while some might get you a good result.
However, if you only have a blender machine, then I’ve some tips for you to get good jobs for a food processor done.
Bread Crumbs:
For bread crumbs, you can use 2 slides of dried bread for maximum. Hence, add a few pieces of the dried bread to the blender.
Turn on the pulse option for 30 seconds till you get a good consistency of this job. If there is no pulse option in your blender, run it for 30 seconds of high speed.
Shredded Cheese:
Take your chef’s knife into 2-inch chunks. Start dicing of the hard cheese to get the shredded cheese. Add them to your blender device and turn on the pulse for 30 seconds to get a good consistency in work.
Vegetables:
Using the temperature function in a blender, you can get a few degrees of chopping. Now run your blender on the lowest setting as well as using a temper to cut vegetables. Take the downwards force using a tamper to the vegetables where the blade is.
Baby Food:
If you want to cook foods for your baby then take a cup of fresh vegetables for a maximum in the jar. Use your blender device at a high speed to get a good and smooth mixture.
Ice:
No need to say that the ice is very essential for adult evening parties. Especially, when girls and boys have night parties at their home.
In this regard, you can have crushed ice by placing around 5-6 ice cubes in the jar. You should set the blender until you get a fine consistent crushed.
Pesto:
Who doesn’t love to have a good pesto? Making pesto at home is far much better than purchasing from a fatty store. To have this, all you need is olive oil around 3-4 cups.
Take cheese about 1.5 cups of basil, ¼ cup of pine nuts and the last one is 3 cloves of garlic.
Dough:
If you have an industrial blender, then I would like to prescribe you to try this. Because a home using a blender is not suitable for doing this job.
A home blender usually looks slender shape with sharp blades. Therefore, it does not allow the dough to turn on properly to make it rise air permeation.
Expert Suggestions:
- Most of the blenders have 3 levels of speed settings while expensive and luxurious blenders have 6-speed levels. If you look for making pureed food then use your blender at the highest level of speed. On the contrary, to make the chunky type of foods, turn on the lowest setting of speed level.
- There are some blender models available in the market and online stores designed with a tamper stick. It serves a few cups set of ice blades into the jar and many more.
- A blender machine is not able to control a volume similar to a food processor. That is why it is best to use ¼ of the food ingredients as much as you want with a food processor and make the dish in batches.
- If you’re not sure about the setting function, add all of the food ingredients but one by one. Adding all of the ingredients together, you might prevent wastage if things do not go as they should.
Final Thoughts:
Which gadget you want to purchase, it solely depends on what type of jobs you want to do as usual. Also, consider the space and budget. However, you need both of the kitchen appliances if you would like to make a full range of recipes.
Just get a blender, if you just want to deal with smoothies and soups. On the flip side, if you want more like chopping vegetables and many more, get a food processor gadget.
If you’re still wondering how Can Blended be used as Food Processor? ask your question in the comments section below.

Tips on how to keep blender bottles dishwasher safe.
Nowadays, blender bottles can be seen as one of the most popular items for people’s kitchens that many households love to use. These kinds of bottles using for shaking up great protein shakes. But this question arises in our minds, Are Blender Bottles Dishwasher Safe?
Moreover, it can be used to make different kinds of beverages from smoothies to sports drinks as well as iced coffees. Many readers usually ask me this question that whether blender bottle dishwashers safe for health or not?
Therefore, in this article, we’ll discuss and explore whether blender bottles are safe for health or not. Even, we will give you some amazing ways and tips as well that you can follow to make sure of yourself that you get the cleanest bottle to use.
Blender Bottles:
Blender bottles consist of a plastic bottle or cup with a highly tight-fitting lid regardless of the brand. The blender bottles contain a spiral steel surgical mixing ball.
It allows you to mix up any kind of beverage entirely from great protein shakes to regular fruit juices and smoothies as well. Since it does not require electricity, blender bottles are a great alternative source for portable electric blenders.
It requires some vigorous protein shaking. Of course, there is an inconvenience of using blender bottles instead of using electronic blenders which cannot be extract nutrients fully. Even, this bottle is not able to extract flavors from vegetables and fruits and always leave some of the pulps.
You can see that most of the blender bottle users bring it along to the gym while they go to gym centers. They take these bottles along to the gym to make their protein shakes. Some of them take whisk eggs, salad dressings, iced coffee even mix up pancake batter if they like to have.
Using a blender bottle, a little bottle can be used for all the protein shaking you need.
What makes a blender bottle dishwasher safe?
As I told you just before that blender bottles contain surgical steel stainless grade blenders mix up the ball with a wire whisk. Smoothing out the drink mixers as well as meal ingredients is the main purpose to move around the blender bottle.
This type of blender bottle works well with fiber drinks, smoothies, protein shakes, and so on. All of the pieces of blender bottles are dishwasher safe. It is recommended to use the top rack for the cup and lid while putting them inside the dishwasher safe.
The wire whisk and blender bottles are placed in the silverware bin to clean up. We can use our hands to wash the blender bottle using warm water and soap. Some of the protein shakes at the bottom of the bottle leave some residue.
Also, there are protein shakes (nutrition) that blend to leave a bad odor from the bottle. However, if you left inside for a long time, bottles might look discolor and produce some kind of bad smell.
The left odor in the bottle can be removed through the dishwasher where protein and nutrition shakes are solely responsible. In this regard, you have to improve some of the other methods.
For example, you could use a piece of newspaper or a briquette and roll the charcoal briquette into the newspaper. Hence you can put it inside of the blender bottle. To remove contents, put the lid back and allow it to stay like this for a few days.
After that, clean the protein shaker cup with soap and warm water. White vinegar and baking soda can be added to the bottle. By doing so, you can get rid of the bad odor. Hence, wash it but uncover it with the flip cup.
Make sure when the blend liquids, the rinse makes them out just after the use of it. It can give special attention to retaining an odor after using it. And just like the other cups, you can wash them with your hands.
The cup storage can be cleaned with soap and warm water to make sure these are not accumulated from bad smells or stubborn stains.
Clean up Blender Bottles Properly:
Generally, it is very easy to clean up blender bottles that anyone can do. If you wash this bottle before and after use of it would be good to use it for a long time. This is our high recommendation that you should not be left any protein shakes in your blender bottle.
This can deteriorate the bottle quickly if you leave an unpleasant smell. And you know, an unpleasant smell is more unpleasant to clean up. It can be seen that most of the blender bottles are able of being washed in a dishwasher.
However, many people ask me why it should be placed at the top of the rack? My answer is the blender bottle is not designed to be cleaner basically but delicate and you can do it with warm water and soap.
And bear in mind that that top rack is safe for blender bottles. You can wash blender bottles with the dishwasher altogether with your hand if you do have enough trust in the dishwasher.
Remove bottle odors:
One of the worst things that I have ever experienced happens when a blender bottle is continuously using without being washed. Doing, so different kinds of bad odors create into the bottle that gives us an unpleasant experience while washing it.
This is down to all types of ingredients that use in the blender bottles over and over time with some of the stronger smells. For example, you can take onions or garlic smells as examples and keep them remained into a bottle for a while.
Hence, you can smell and let me know about your experience in the comments section below. However, don’t be worry because I’ve good and effective solutions for you. To remove the bad smell, fill up your bottle with baking soda with a little vinegar.
Then you can keep it for a night. Doing so will help you to remove those kinds of stronger bad scents. Another piece of advice for you is to remove bad scents, sprinkle a small piece of paper, and take water.
After that, place a few drops of vanilla to extract. Hence sit them into the bottle for a while. Let them stay for around a day to make this trick successful as well as remove bad smell together.
Lastly, a final tip that you can use also is to place damp coffee grounds into the jar. Afterward, seal it and let it stay overnight to remove the pesky scents that are stuck in your blender bottle.
Disinfect your blender bottle:
If you want to make your blender bottle free from odor then disinfect it would be a nice idea. One of the things that many people usually ignore that they tend to disinfect the blender.
The reason is they do not like to take all the parts of it to scrub inside. Above all, it looks like a messy job. Many parts of the ingredients want to stick to the blender and this is what people put off usually.
However, there is a method that anyone can fairly as well as quickly disinfect it simply includes a bar of soap, a bit of lukewarm, and a couple of minutes.
A drop of vinegar and lemon are also recommended for a squeakier clean but this is not necessarily entirely. Just follow the steps below:
- Fill up your blender bottle about halfway from tap water with lukewarm.
- Take a dish soap’s spot that is not too harsh.
- Turn on the blender and lets it rinse through.
- Hence, make on the blender for around 15 seconds.
- Lastly, pour out the remaining water to let it rinse.
Thus, you will have a clean, fresh blender bottle that would be ready to use with no annoying bad scents.
Precautions:
If you have your blender bottle then you should be aware that it should be washed with hot liquid water. Moreover, it also should not contain hot drinks such as coffee-like protein shakes which are not designed for it.
This means if hot water or hot coffee placed inside of this bottle, then the flip cap of the bottle would be damaged due to pressure from the person holding it.
Final Verdict:
If you have your blender bottle, keep it as fresh and clean as possible. Do not forget to wash it before and after each use. And never leave anything that remained in the bottle to rot.
You can also wash your bottle with a dishwasher as long as they are on the top of the rack. In this way, you can keep your blender bottle safe and use it for a long period.
We hope that our guide has been greatly helped you and you came to know how to better look at your blender bottle before and after each use. If you have any confusion about “Are Blender Bottles Dishwasher Safe?” then contact us without hesitation.

Explained How Electric Kettle Kitchen Appliance Works
Perhaps an electric kettle is one of the most kitchen appliances that widely has been using around the world. As I have one, I guess almost every household does have an electric kettle. So many people ask How Does an Electric Kettle Work?
An electric kettle comes with an inside heating element that heats the liquid inside of it within the least time comparatively. And nowadays you can get up to thousands of models of electric kettle available in the marketplace. But the news user usually faces a common issue that how it works as well as how can they use it properly.
If you are also one of them who is wondering how does an electric kettle works, then you just came to the right place to know about it. While you plug in an electric kettle to an outlet, a large amount of electric current will pass through to its cord as well as in the whole machine that turns into heats from the inside heating element.
The element can hit because of the heating element that offers resistance. Therefore, this resistance can be able to convert the electrical energy into heat that heats the liquid inside of the kettle.
You can see there are few models of electric kettles equipped with fancier as well as a more heating complex system with automatic shutting-off designs.
Electric Kettle Parts:
Before we go to the topic of how an electric kettle works actually, we should know about its important parts.
Four major parts commonly can be seen in every electric kettle machine. The following parts are:
Detachable Base:
Most of the modern electric kettle is designed with a detachable base feature. This base contains the contact which allows the electricity to flow to the element.
Heating Element:
The heating elements allow resistance to flow the electrical energy through the cord as well as inside of the kettle part. It creates heat in the heating function that helps to boil the water.
Power Adapter:
The power adapter connects to the heating element which supplies the power of electrical energy flow to the electric kettle machine.
Bimetallic Strip:
When the waters get heat and start boiling causes the bimetallic strip to bend which triggers the switch to cut off the electrical power.
How does an electric kettle work?
Though the electric kettle is a single kitchen appliance it comes with a couple of different parts. The following parts work hand in hand so they can produce an efficient output.
The following parts are:
- Heating Element
- Thermostat
In the beginning phase, the electric kettles were not well functioned as the modern kettles. They only had a well-built body and an inside heating element. Therefore, the users during that phase used the manual switch to turn it on/off.
And the old day’s kettles were able to use for once a day just for boiling the water. However, modern electric kettles are far much better than the old ones with advanced functions.
Heating Element:
The heating element is the most important part of an electric kettle. This machine is worthless actually, without the heating function. A heating element works like a resistor designed to resist the electricity flow.
Moreover, it creates heat and therefore, the liquid boils in the inner side of the kettle. For example, if you use an electric tea kettle, then the heating element produces heat to make the tea water according to the user’s preference of temperature.
Thermostat:
As we have discussed above, a thermostat is an incorporated part of new electric kettles. A thermostat and a heating element are hand in hand position and connected as always.
The thermostat function in the kettle plays an important role to control the heating capacity of the heating element. Also, once it attained the required temperature, automatically switch off the power.
The thermostat has 5 adjustable control settings functions, so you can use it, any one of them, according to your choice.
Now we’ll discuss all of these settings one by one below.
High Limit Setting:
The primary temperature control of an electric kettle has a high limit option that allows the highest hot water temperate before the controllers get turned down the boiler. It can be easily adjusted so there is nothing to worry about.
The boiler burner function shuts down automatically when the high limit temperature is reached.
The burner will restart, usually, about 10 degrees Fahrenheit when the water temperature falls within a differential temperature below the high limit setting. It maintains a general temperature to boil the water inside of the kettle.
Low Limit Setting:
A thermostat also has a low limit setting of temperature as it has a high limit setting. Like the first function, you can easily adjust it depending on your choice.
Once the water temperature gets below the low limit setting, the heating element starts heating the inside liquid of the electric kettle to maintain the desired temperature.
What if you set the temperature too high?
Well if you set the temperature of your electric kettle too high, the chain of function would be like this at below:
Power supply > thermostat high set temperature > transistor to send a high volume of electrical energy to the heating element > heating element creates a high amount of heat.
What if you set the temperature too low?
On the flip side, if you set the temperature low then it would be like this:
Power supply > thermostat low set temperature > transistor to send a low volume of electricity to the heating element > heating element produces a low amount of heat.
Final Recommendation:
As you have seen above, an electric kettle comes with several advantages. Therefore, the number of electric kettle users are rapidly increasing in the last decades. We hope you are now enough clear about the activity of it.
If you still get any hesitation in your mind or face any kind of problem while adjusting the attached functions of your electric kettle, then you can write your important words in the comments section below.
Because we would like to hear from you as always. If you also have any known people who face this kind of issue, can share this blog post with these people so that they can get help from it.

Nowadays many web researchers ask, How to Descale an Electric Kettle Step by Step?
The electric kettle is one of the most important kitchen appliances that we need in our daily life. This appliance is very convenient as well as easier to use. We use an electric kettle for tea making; such as boiling water.
Also making instant recipes, soups, and so on. As the electric kettle has a pouring spot, this machine is far more convenient than using a microwave. But due to boiling water over and over inside of the kettle may get limestone buildup.
Thus, it gets scaling or kettle furring that slows down the heating of your electric kettle. Therefore, like other appliances, your kettle needs a bit of cleaning to keep the exterior and the interior in top shape.
If you’re searching over the internet how to descale electric kettle, then this article would be very helpful for you.
Because, in this article, we are going to show you how to descale your electric kettle and care for this small kitchen appliance to keep it good for working for a long time to come.
How often electric kettle should be cleaned up?
Many kettle users usually ask me how often an electric kettle should be cleaned up?
To be honest, there is no hard and fast rule, but it should depend upon how often you use your electric kettle machine.
The exterior part of this device should be wiped down for eliminating smudges and splatters once in a week for a minimum.
For example, if you use an electric water kettle just for boiling the water, then it should be descaled to the water minerals (hard) at least 4-5 times in a year.
Moreover, an electric kettle small appliance can be cleaned up once a month at least if it has a cartridge or water filter.
Tools/ Equipment:
- Water
- Microfiber cloth
- Bottlebrush or a non-abrasive sponge
- Lemon juice or citric acid powder
- Distilled white vinegar
- Dishwashing liquid
Descale your electric kettle step by step:
To descale your electric kettle properly, you can follow these steps below:
-
Descale the electric kettle with vinegar:
Take your kettle and fill it with almost one-half of its portion of water 1:1 solution of water. Hence, get the distilled white vinegar and make the water solution to a full boil.
After that, shut down your electric kettle if it doesn’t turn off automatically. Now let the distilled white vinegar solution stay in the kettle at least for 20 minutes. Finally, discard the kettle cleaning solution.
-
Descale your kettle with Lemon Juice:
Using lemon juice or citric acid powder to the descaling electric kettle is one of the most effective solutions. Substitute citric acid powder or the freshly-squeezed or take a bottled lemon juice for the distilled white vinegar.
Then mix up a solution with a 1:1 ratio of lemon juice and water or citric acid powder with 2 tablespoons in amount. Fill your kettle with water (half portion of the kettle). Afterward, you should bring the mixing solution for boiling.
Now turn on your electric kettle and keep this solution inside of the kettle for 20 minutes at least before discarding.
Unplug the cooled kettle before cleaning up the electric kettle any further. If it is an electric water kettle, then remove it before you clean up the interior part of this gadget.

Replace the water filter:
If you’re using an electric water kettle machine, then it should have a water filtering cartridge or a water filter function. Using this function, you can easily remove as well as clean up your electric kettle properly following the manufacturer’s directions.
Most of the filters are made of metal and it can be cleaned up using soaking them in the solution. Just get the hot water inside of the kettle with distilled white vinegar and keep it for 5 minutes at least. After that, you should scrub the rinse with fresh water and scrub with the bottle brush.
-
Scrub the electric kettle inside:
As we told you before in the tools part that gets a soft-bristled bottle brush or a non-abrasive sponge so you can scrub the inside part of the electric kettle.
In this regard, you should pay particular attention specifically to the areas of the spout wherever the build-up minerals are heavy.
Dipping the non-abrasive sponge or the brush in pure vinegar would be helpful for you to dislodge the spout that builds up around these areas.
Just bear in mind you should never emerge your electric kettle in the water entirely. In doing so, the heating function can be destroyed or unable to work properly.
-
Descale the electric kettle’s exterior part:
Take a non-abrasive sponge and wipe down the exterior part of the electric kettle. Start dipping it in a solution of warm water. Get the dishwashing liquid and take a few drops of it so you can remove any kind of splatters or smudges.
If you notice there are heavy spots that are tough to remove, then you can dip the damp sponge using baking soda in some dry. Using the baking soda with gentle abrasive sponge nature can be very effective to remove the mess.
To keep your stainless steel exterior part of the electric kettle shiny and free from the streak, take a few drops of olive oil and start rubbing on the outside of the kettle.
Thus, you can keep your electric kettle looking shiny as well as impressive.
-
Final Rinses and Reassemble the Electric Kettle:
Fill up your electric kettle about half of the full portion of the kettle with water for a final rinse. You can do it while you see your electric kettle is clean, looks good, and reassembles any kind of component.
Now plug it in the electric circuit to bring the water in the kettle to a full boil. After that, you should just discard the water.
You can repeat the rinse cycle one more time. By doing so, you can make sure all of the cleaning solutions and minerals are gone from your using an electric kettle.
Additional Tips to Keep your Electric Kettle Clean for Longer:
- While you descale your electric kettle, use the distilled water rather than using tap water. If you live in an area of hard water or depend on nature for water supply, then it is particularly very important for you.
- You should never leave the water that stays in the electric kettle. Do not place your finger inside of the kettle while it’s a plugin and the water is boiling. Just learn how to heat the water properly that would be necessary for each of the uses. And keep the electric kettle empty as always after every use of it.
Final Recommendation:
Remember, a clean kettle is a green kettle. Because while you clean up your electric kettle, it will use less energy as well as extend the period of the life of your kettle.
